Abdias Chris Castillo, Iii

LCPL Abdias Christopher Castillo Ill (Lil Ab) entered into an unexpected eternal rest on Sunday, August 16, 2015 in Elgin, TX at the age of 23.

Abdias was born in Austin, TX on June 11, 1992. He graduated from Granger High School. He joined the Marines in 2010 and served for 4 years. During his service he was awarded numerous decorations including Sharpshooter Rifle Qualification Badge, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, and Global War on Terrorism Service Medal. He was an employee of Gemini in Taylor, TX.

Abdias was preceded in death by his grandfather, Abdias Christopher Castillo I. Survivors include ; wife Sabrina Castillo, parents, Arthur and Maria Martinez, Jr. and Abdias Christopher and Regina Castillo II; siblings, Paul Eric Contreras, Abdias Dre Castillo I and wife Marina, Alexandria Martinez and significant other Walter Hall, April Lynn Martinez, Maryrose Castillo, Jada Love Castillo; nieces/nephews, John Anthony Contreras, Abdias Dre Castillo II, Abdias Leonidas Castillo, Lexus Martinez, Kacey Hall; and four pets he loved dearly, Ace, Rico, Ally and Oscar.

He was loved by countless family members and friends.

Services will be August 21, 2015, 6-8 pm at Providence, 807 Carlos Parker Blvd in Taylor, TX. Burial with full military honors will be August 22, 2015, 3 p.m. at Granger City Cemetery.
