Our beloved mother Gloria Lopez Moreno, age 65, resident of Hutto Texas, was called by our Heavenly Father on Sunday, July 19, 2015, with her family by her side.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lorenzo and Feliciana Lopez, and sisters Maria Guadalupe Vera and Ermelinda Castro.
She is survived by her two children, daughter, Melanie Trevino and son, Aaron Moreno and wife Shawna, five grandchildren, Nathan, Justice, Eli, Elena and Audrey, one great grandchild, Avery, and her siblings Mary Gamez, Susie Lucio, Lorenzo and Eva Lopez, Paul and Lucy Lopez, Richard and Josie Lopez, twin sister Olga and Ray Gonzales, and many nieces and nephews.
Gloria was a lovely woman. She embodied all of the attributes of a wonderful mother, grandmother, sibling, and friend. She was caring, thoughtful, hardworking, compassionate, loving and so much more. She adored her children and grandchildren and cherished the times they all spent together. She was devoted to her Christian faith and a member of Shoreline Church. Gloria was the personification of faith. She taught us to put God first in all things. She carried that faith with her in everything she did. She was employed at State Farm Insurance for the past 39 years, where she made many lifelong friends. She loved her family deeply and thought of her friends as family. She always had an ear to listen or shoulder to cry on. This world will not be the same without her. Her presence, smile, and laughter will deeply be missed.
Gloria’s Celebration of Life Service will be Monday, July 27, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Providence Funeral Home Chapel, Taylor, TX.
