Brock Ramirez

Brock Ramirez was born on March 20, 1996 in Georgetown, Texas to Melanie Rodriguez of Bartlett, Texas and Arthur Ramirez of Holland, Texas. Brock walked into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on July 16, 2015 at the age of 19.

Brock Ramirez of Taylor, Texas is survived by his parents, Melanie Rodriguez and Arthur Ramirez; three sisters Cassidy Ramirez, Paige Ramirez and Carol Vasquez of Taylor, Texas; one brother Albert Vasquez III of Taylor, TX; grandparents, Chico and Maggie Rodriguez of Bartlett, Texas; Joe and Julie Alderete of Holland, Texas; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Brock, also known as Brocko to his close friends and family lived life as a free-spirit. He could enter a room and brighten it with his goofy laugh and heart melting smile. His young life was more full of adventures than most hold in a lifetime. Brock held many people and hobbies close to his heart. Some of Brock’s hobbies ranged from cooking, caring for his pets, sketching, singing, making others laugh and being a devoted Cowboy fan to name a few. One of Brock’s greatest loves was spending time with his younger cousin Mark also known as Poppy. Together they would spend hours playing online games, laughing and just enjoying one another’s souls. It was a bond that warmed his heart and he spoke of frequently. Brock also held a deep love for his brother, sisters and cousins the crazy memories of their childhood ranging from camping on the patio, dressing up as wrestlers, spending endless summers swimming & bike riding, raising Garfield & Odie to entering High School together and becoming young adults who loved one another unconditionally. Together they held a family bond that will forever be cherished. Brock’s loving soul ensured to tell those he loved dearly how much he cared for them very frequently and it’s a blessing that warms the heart. Brock will forever be our Sunshine.

Brock will be greatly missed by everyone that loved him. He was the kind of young man that anyone would be proud to call son, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend.

Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 21, 2015 with a Rosary at 7:00 P.M. at Providence Funeral Home.

Brock is a member of Saint Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church of Granger, Texas where he will receive his final sacrament. Celebration of Life Mass will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday July 22, 2015 at SS Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Bartlett City Cemetery.
