Margery H. Pearson

Margery Pearson, 94, of Taylor passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2015. Margery was born January 16, 1921 in Taylor to Pauline and Paul Galler. She was the Librarian for the Taylor Public Library for over 40 years.

Margery was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Taylor Garden Club, Women’s Study Group of First United Methodist Church, Historical Commission of Williamson County and Taylor Public Library Board. While at the library she started the Historical Room at the Taylor Public Library.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wiley Pearson; and daughter, Sharon.

She is survived by her nieces Justine McClendon, Linda Holland and husband Alton, and Barbara Underwood and husband Charlie; numerous great nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Taylor City Cemetery.
