David Ray Meinardus, Sr.

David Ray Meinardus, Sr., 75, of Buckholts, TX, passed away Friday, June 19, 2015 at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Temple.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 P.M., Monday, June 22, 2015 at Providence Funeral Home Chapel.

Celebration of Life Service will be 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Providence Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery (West Taylor).

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law David and Avery Meinardus of Buckholts; his daughter Amy Ford of Belton; four grandchildren, Cooper and Jenna Meinardus and Holden and Elizabeth Ford; a sister, Janeth Wood of Moody; a brother, Ronny Meinardus and wife Annie of Thorndale.

David was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Minnie Meinardus and a brother Donny Meinardus.

The family has asked that in lieu of flowers donations may be made in David’s name to Charlie Pack’s Tadpole Foundation at 7111 Bosque Blvd. Suite 207 Waco, TX, 76703
