Florence Kruse

Florence Marie Eschberger Kruse passed away on Sunday April 26, 2015. She was born in Coupland, Texas on August 26, 1924 to Mary (Duve) and William Eschberger. On May 14, 1944, she married Delwood Kruse. This union was blessed with five children, 12 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death are her husband, brothers: James, George, Calvin “Doc” and Elvy and her sisters, Evelyn (Robert Prinz) (Les Heinsohn) and Gladys (Ewald) Ging, son-in-law Frankie Vrana and granddaughter, Nicole Patschke.

Survivors include her children, Delwood, Jr. “Buddy” and Doris Kruse, Jennifer and August Batla, Charlotte Vrana, Suzanne and Edward Brosch and Paulette and Steven Patschke. Grandchildren Stephanie, Aaron, Angela, Brandon, Allison, Jason, Amy, Laura, Emily, Steven, Jr. and Phillip.

Prayer service and visitation are planned for 6:00-8:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at Providence Funeral Home with funeral service at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church officiated by Rev. Kerri Veit. Burial to follow at the church cemetery.

Grandsons will serve as pall bearers.

Memorial tributes may be made to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Prince of Peace Lutheran Church Cemetery or the charity of one’s choice.
