Victoria Lopez

Victoria Lopez died in her home on March 25, 2015 in Del Rio, TX at the age of 81.
Ms. Lopez was born on March 16, 1934 in Manchaca, TX. She married Victor Lopez on March 8, 1954, and will be laid to rest next to her husband in Taylor, TX.
Victoria lived in Lorenzo, TX, and became a widow at the age of 32. She never remarried and raised her six children and one adopted son. She moved to Del Rio, TX, in 2006, to live with her daughter, Gloria Salinas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Lopez, and her sibling’s, four brothers, eight sisters, and her parents.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, and sons-in-law. Her daughter, Gloria Salinas, and son-in-law Ricky Salinas of Del Rio, TX. Her daughter, Virginia Lopez and son-in-law Daniel Lopez of Woodrow TX. Her daughter, Rosa Hinojos of Idalou, TX, Tony Lopez of Lorenzo, TX, John Lopez of , TX, Rudy Lopez of Petersburg, TX, and Abel Lopez of Lubbock, TX, and all her grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements will be held on Friday, March 27, 2015 from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor, Texas. Funeral service will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 10:00 a.m.
Ms. Lopez will be buried at Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery following mass services.
