Wanda Jean Goolsby

Wanda Jean Goolsby was born on May 5th, 1945, in Lamesa, TX, to Murlene Aten, who later married Jessie E. Hester, who adopted Wanda in 1951, and raised as his own.
Wanda will be missed by her husband, L.C., and her Children: Lawanda Darlene Riojas and her husband, Richard; Terry Glenn Thornton and wife, Janet; Tommie Jean Chafin and husband, Bard; step-daughter, Dawn Marie Brown and husband, Eddie; Grandchildren: Amanda Brown and husband, David, Kimberly Riojas, Buddy Riojas, Jerry Hamilton and wife, Kari; Tanner Hamilton, Chris Parkhill and wife, Kristina; Suzanna Chafin, Terry Chafin, Michael Swenson, Amanda Williams and husband, Tommy; and Kayla Brown, along with 10 Great Grandchildren.
She also leaves behind one Sister: Nancy Eulene Stephens, one Niece: Melissa Garcia and husband, Baldemar; and two Nephews: David Grace and wife, Becky, and Hayden Wayne Stephens, Jr.
She will also be missed by Aunts, Cousins, Friends, and Associates.
Wanda was preceded in death by her Father, Jessie E. Hester, her Mother, Murlene Hackworth, her sister, Dolores Creek, and her Son, Louis Lynn Stephens.
There was only one thing that Wanda loved more than L.C. and her family, and that was God. He was her Lighthouse.
The visitation is 12-2 pm Sunday March 22, 2015 at Providence Funeral Home. Service will begin at 2:00 pm following the visitation.
