Margarito G Ornelas

Margarito G. Ornelas, 78 passed away peacefully on Friday, March 6, 2015 surrounded by his family.

He was know by his family and friends as Mage or Magoo.

He was born to parents Jose and Ruperta (Gill) Ornelas on July 20, 1936 in San Gabriel, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, David Ornelas, Julian Ornelas and Sister, Beatrice Torres.

He is survived by wife Caroline Ornelas of 56 years and of that union three children were born, Linda and husband James Chavana, Lisa and husband Troy Wilkins, Michael and wife Tina Ornelas and four grandchildren, Ramon Nazario, Brittany Chavana, Kristen and Michael Ornelas Jr.

Also survived by three brothers, four sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.

He worked for the City of Taylor for 36 years before retiring.

In his early years he was an avid comic book collector and has always been a WWE fan.

Serving as Pallbearers will be his nephews Richard Torres, Matthew Ornelas, Alfred Torres, Arthur Ruiz, Paul Galvan and David Ruiz

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 pm with rosary at 7:00pm Monday March 9, 2015 at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor, Texas

Celebration of Life Mass will be at 2:00pm Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at St Mary’s Catholic Church, Burial will follow at Taylor City Cemetery
