Timothy Lewis Mcfarlin

Timothy McFarlin was born September 2, 1970 to the late Lewis “Jody” Means McFarlin and Carolyn Cunningham in Taylor, Texas. He was the devoted and loving brother (Bubba) of Kimberly Bowie from Round Rock, Texas and Priscilla McFarlin of Muldrow, Oklahoma. Timothy attended Taylor High School and graduated in 1991. After graduation, he attended Blinn College and later enlisted into the U.S. Army in August of 1992.

As a Water Treatment Specialist and instructor in the US Army for 21 years, Tim received numerous medals and awards including the Army Commendation Medal, Combat Action Badge, Iraq Campaign Medals, Korean Defense Medal, and the USAF Presidential Unit Citation. Timothy was a proud serviceman who served in Honduras, Somalia, Iraq, Kuwait, and humanitarian efforts in Haiti.

Tim was united in marriage to Niki West, and her daughter Darian Wyatt in Richmond, Virginia on July 1, 2008. The two had a beautiful daughter, Kimberly McFarlin.

He is survived by his devoted wife Niki McFarlin, loving mother Carolyn Cunningham, and two sisters, Kimberly Bowie (Patrick); and Priscilla McFarlin; daughters Darian, Brianna, Tiana, and Kimberly; nephews, Dino and Braxton; and two nieces, Paris and Selena. Timothy is also survived by aunts and uncles and a host of relatives and friends. He also leaves behind a devoted and ever-faithful military family of brave men and women.

A visitation will be held Friday January 23, 2015 from 6 pm- 8 pm at Providence Funeral Home.
Service will be held Saturday January 24, 2015 at 2 pm at Providence Funeral Home.
Burial with military honors will follow at the Taylor City Cemetery.
