Mildred Machu O'Brien

Mildred Machu “Millie” O’Brien of Taylor, Texas was called by her Heavenly Father on Monday, January 5th, 2015. Millie was born April 8th 1939 in Taylor, TX to Edward Machu and Winnie Klima Machu. She married Lloyd (OB) O’Brien on April 7th 1962.

She was a dedicated homemaker, mother, and wife for many years.
She was a lifetime member of the Taylor Brethren Church. She graduated from Taylor High School in 1957. She went onto receive an Associate’s Degree in Childhood Development and later owned and operated Dove Creek Daycare in Round Rock, TX.

She was proceeded in death by her parents and brother, Eugene Machu.

Millie is survived by her loving husband, OB, her daughter Shelley Pyle and Husband Barry Pyle of Austin, TX her daughter, Kelley Gilbert and Husband Shawn Gilbert of Spring, TX. And four grandsons Colton Lloyd Pyle, Peyton Joe Pyle, Griffin Michael Gilbert, and Grant O’Brien Gilbert. Siblings Melba Roepke and husband Gene Roepke, Lorene Machu, Johnnie Machu and wife Aileene Machu, Howard Machu and wife Bonnie Machu. Sister in law Sandra Larmeu and husband John Larmeu and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at the Providence Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 7th from 6pm to 8 pm.

A funeral service will be held at 10am, Thursday January 8th at the Taylor Brethren Church 710 Sloan Street with burial to follow at Taylor City Cemetery
