David H. Schiller

David Herman Schiller, 71 of Manor, died December 14, 2014 at St. David’s Hospital in Round Rock. He was born December 13, 1943 in Beyersville to Herman and Metha Schiller. He attended Coupland Elementary/ Middle School and Taylor High School. He worked for HEB until retirement. He enjoyed gardening and sitting on the deck enjoying nature. He enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Carolyn Priem Schiller; son Glenn of Bastrop, son Steven and his wife Nancy and grandsons Colton, Garrett, Landon and Nolan of Coupland; his sister Inez Mansfield of Coupland and sister-in-law Helen Graf of Hutto.

He was preceded in death by his parents, niece Amy Mansfield and nephews Mark Mansfield and Heath Graf.

Visitation will be held Wednesday December 17, 2014 at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor from 6pm-8pm. Services will be on Thursday December 18, 2014 at Providence Funeral Home at 2 pm with burial following at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Pflugerville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Cancer Society or The American Heart Association.
