John “Johnny” Sandoval, age 70 of Round Rock passed away on Monday, December 8, 2014.
He was born October 20, 1944 in Lexington, Texas to Carlota and Simon Sandoval.
Johnny was well known in Taylor as he owned and operated Sandoval Paint and Body for numerous years.
His hobbies were shooting pool, hunting, fishing, bowling, and horseshoes. He was very competitive in all sports. He loved his lakehouse and lake family at Lake Buchannan.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Simon and Carlota Sandoval; brother, Lupe D. Sandoval.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years Mary Sandoval, his children; Amy Weaver and husband Chuck Weaver, Tim Sandoval, Tay Sandoval and wife Yvonne Sandoval, grandchildren; Matthew Sandoval, Josh Sandoval, Nicholas Sandoval, Taeden Sandoval, Ethan John Sandoval, great granddaughter Audrey Faith Sandoval; sisters, Celia Alderete and her husband Isaias, Frances Salazar and her husband Martin, Mary Sanchez, Josie Robles and her husband Richard, Janie Gonzales and Abraham Vega, and Irene Jennings and her husband Wyatt; numerous nieces and nephews and his Lake Buchannan family.
Pallbearers will be Danny Sandoval, Tommy Salazar, Sebe Salazar, Steven Sanchez, Andy Garza, Gary Sanchez, Jeremiah Robles, and Brandon Rodriguez.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at Providence Funeral Home with a Prayer Service at 7:00 P.M.
Celebration of Life Services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 12, 2014 at Providence Funeral home with burial to follow at Taylor City Cemetery.
