Joseph "Joe" Kohutek

Joseph Raymond Kohutek was born September 9,1936 in Taylor, Texas to Anton and Francis Kohutek. Joe went to be with the Lord on November 12,2014.

He is survived by his wife Rosalie and two children Michael Kohutek and wife Kathy, Jessica Morrison and husband Frank and four grandchildren, Cory Morrison , Alecia Morrison Livingston, Alysha Kohutek, Tamera Kohutek. He survived by his sister Emma Spiegelhauer.

He also served in the U.S Army and was an honor guard for his battalion. He also earned a metal for sharp shooting.

Joe retired from Intercraft at age 62 to do all the outdoor things he enjoyed.

Joe loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. He hunted in several areas, but enjoyed hunting with his first group, which included dads and sons. Most of his fishing included Lake Buchanan and deep sea fishing at Port O'Connor. His garden provided several families with lots of home grown vegetables which included a large supply tomatoes, onions and jalapenos and sweet banana peppers.

He will be missed by his family and friends.

Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Providence Funeral Home.

Celebration of Life Mass will be 3:00 P.M. Sunday, November 16, 2014 at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
