Daniel Lloyd Billstein, 34, of Liberty, Texas, passed into eternal life on October 10, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Bay City, Texas on January 31, 1980.
Daniel grew up in the central Texas area before finally settling in Liberty, Texas. He was a boy scout, earned his Order of the Arrow and traveled to Mexico with the church youth group to work on an orphanage. Daniel worked in various chemical plants and recently worked for Stork, an International Oil and Gas Service Company. Daniel adored his wife, Aimee, and his energetic sons.
Daniel is survived by his wife Aimee, two sons, Aidan and Noah Billstein; father, Bruce Billstein, of Victoria, Texas; Mother and Step-father, Danny and Peggy Vanelli of Taylor, Texas; two sisters, Hannah Hunn (husband Shane) of Georgetown, Texas, and Naomi Billstein of Austin, Texas; two brothers, Aaron Vanelli (wife Sandra) of Hutto, Texas and Cole Vanelli of Round Rock, Texas. Also surviving is his paternal grandmother, Mary Martha Billstein of Victoria, Texas and maternal grandparents, Edward and Evalie Singer of Victoria, Texas.
Daniel was preceded in death by grandfather, Lloyd Billstein and grandparents, Lawrence and Hilda Vanelli.
Friends are invited to visitation with the family from 5:00 PM -7:00PM on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at Providence Funeral Home, 807 Carlos Parker Blvd. NW, Taylor, Texas. Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 3101 CR 417, Taylor, Texas. Burial will follow at Taylor City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Charles Mitchell, Michael Merchant, Eddie Singer, Ed Mainka, Shane Hunn, and Brent Billstein. Honorary Pallbearers are uncles, Brian Billstein and Allen Vanelli, and aunts, Brenda Ballard, Edna Mainka, and Deborah Vanelli.
