Sherri Lynn Marcon

Sherri Lynn Marcon, 36, of Thrall died Wednesday, September 17, 2014.

Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Providence Funeral Home.

Celebration of Life Services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, September 21, 2014 at Providence Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Taylor City Cemetery.

Sherri was born October 20, 1977 in Taylor, TX to Mark and Linda (Roepke) Marcon. She was a loving mother, wife, sister and friend. One of her favorite things to do was watching her son Daryn play sports. She will be greatly missed by all.

Sherri was preceded in death by her parents, Mark and Linda Marcon; grandfathers, Johnnie Marcon and Edwin Roepke; and great uncle and aunt, Butch and Norine Unnasch.

She is survived by her husband, Joel Gamez; son, Daryn Gamez; sisters, Kristie Jones and husband Willie and Melissa Hill and husband Mark; grandmothers, Clara Roepke and Marie Marcon; nieces and nephews, Hayden Hill, Ava Hill, April Gamez, Maryah Beals, and Aaron Beals; sister-in-law, Sylvia Gamez; brothers-in-law, Joe Gamez and wife Shelly and Claude Gamez; a special friend Raquel, her Big Star Bingo Hall and D.P.S. family.

Pallbearers will be Joe Gamez, Claude Gamez, Brian Roepke, Victor Valdez, Roger Bernhardt, and Jeffery Kelm.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Mark Hill and Willie Jones.
