Annie Geneva Cantwell

April 19, 1917 — July 11, 2014

Annie Geneva Cantwell passed away peacefully on July 11 in Round Rock at the age of 97.

Annie was born on April 19, 1917 near Liberty Hill, Texas, to John P. and Lena (Bonnet) Henry.

On December 23, 1933, she married Homer Lee Cantwell. For most of her life, Annie was a homemaker. After her children were grown, she began to paint and became an accomplished artist. She was a life long member of the Church of Christ.

Annie is survived by her sons, Jack Cantwell and wife, Christine, of Katy, Texas; J.H. Cantwell and wife, Donna, of Gatesville, Texas and her daughter, Mary Linda and husband, Harlan Hays, of Taylor. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her sister-in-law, Betty Henry, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son, Raymond Earl Cantwell, 9 brothers and sisters, granddaughter, Hope Cantwell, and great-grandson, Austin Sims.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 15th, at 2 pm at Providence Funeral Home with burial to follow at Cook Walden Memorial Park in Pflugerville.

Pall Bearers will be grandsons, Jeff Cantwell, Scott Cantwell, Brian Cantwell, Chris Cantwell, Thomas Hays, and nephew, Buzz Henry.
