Saul was the son of Sara Luna. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps when he was 18 years old. After serving his country he continued to work hard for his family. He worked in the oil rigs for a few years, on cars specializing on upholstery and eventually opening his own shop in Taylor TX, installed fiber optic cables from Temple to San Marcus, and settled into a career as a car salesman for more than 15 years. He put his all in everything that he did and had numerous accomplishments throughout his life.
In December 1974 he married Janie F. Salazar from Taylor, TX. The two were married until she joined the Lord on 2007. Saul enjoyed being around his friends and family and had a smile that would light up the room. He loved collecting antiques, spending time with friends and family, making strangers into lifelong friends, bonding with his grandchildren and cruising around and driving. Most of all he was proud to be an American and proud to be a Marine. His life Motto was “I’m a Marine!” He was fearless, strong, and full of pride in his everyday life.
