T. W. Holmstrom, Jr.

T.W. Holmstrom, Jr., 85, peacefully left this Earth on July 1st surrounded by his family at his home in Taylor.

T was the eldest son of Thomas William and Lillian Johnson Holmstrom. He was born on August 8, 1928. He graduated from Taylor High School in 1945, and then attended The University of Texas at Austin. May 23rd, 1947 he purchased Taylor Floral and continued to work there until the time of his death. T considered 23 his lucky number and on February 23, 1953 he married Lillian Berger.

He was preceded in death by his parents, eldest son Stan T. Holmstrom, sister and brother-in-law Evangeline and Emery Teichelman

T is survived by his wife, Lillian, son Trent Holmstrom and wife Gayle, daughter Terrie Holmstrom and husband David Gomez, son Chad Holmstrom and wife Jana. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jayme Holmstrom Delgado and husband Mark, Shelly Holmstrom, Lance Holmstrom, Torry Harrison and wife Amy and 2 great grandchildren, Leila and Juliette Harrison.

Also surviving are his brother Raymond and wife Pat, sister-in-law Betty Ruzicka and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 6th from 5-7pm at Providence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 7th at 10 am at Providence Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Taylor City Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Alan Teichelman, Bill Ruzicka, Eddie Gerren, Jeff Berger, Calvin Schaefer, and Michael Bachmeyer.
