Bobby Lee Shiller, 67, of Taylor, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at Seton Hospital surrounded by family.
Bobby was born in Taylor on May 16, 1947 to Lumie V. and Viola Wilson Shiller. He graduated from Thrall High School and proudly served in the U.S. Army. He retired from Otis Elevator after 35 years of service. Bobby enjoyed gardening, making yard art, NASCAR, playing the slots in Louisiana and dominoes. Bobby also loved travel with his job Otis Elevator that took him all over the world.
He is predeceased by his grandparents, Vince B. and Cecelia Shiller and Ira M. and Della Wilson, and his parents.
Bobby is survived by his wife Barbara Shiller of Taylor; his daughter Kristi Bailey and husband Ronnie, Sr. and grandchildren Ronnie, Jr. and Ryan Bailey all of Georgetown. He is also survived by his step-daughter Shelley Kohl and husband Charles and step-grandchildren Amanda and Adam Kohl all of Temple.
Bobby is survived by his brother Billy Shiller and wife Dorothy of Harker Heights and sisters Eileen Dickerson and husband Lavoie of Beaukiss and Marilyn Artieschoufsky and husband Donny of Taylor.
He is survived by nephews Cory Shiller of Los Angeles, CA, Gregory Artieschoufsky and wife Ana of Round Rock and their sons Anthony and Benjamin Artieschoufsky and Jerry Dickerson and family of Sweetwater; nieces Nicole McCay and husband Taylor of Houston and their daughter Scarlett McCay and Sherita Whitfield and husband Rod of Garland.
Bobby is also survived by aunts Bessie Wolff of San Antonio, Beatrice Dupree of Navasota and Oma Nell Wilson of Jasper as well as numerous cousins and friends.

To honor Bobby’s request, he was cremated with no service planned at this time.
