Janie Lorine Marling

Janie Lorine Kaderka Marling, our beloved sister, aunt, great aunt and friend, died peacefully at Seton Hospital in Austin, Texas and returned to her heavenly father on Saturday, June 14, 2014.

She was born on March 9, 1945 to Martha (Martinka) and Joe Kaderka in Taylor, Texas.

She attended Granger Public School from first grade through twelfth grade. After high school, she moved to Austin, Texas where she worked for the State of Texas.

An angel of a woman describes our sister. During her lifetime of illness with asthma and heart problems, difficult surgeries and recuperations, she was our steel magnolia. Throughout it all, Janie never complained and always turned the other cheek. She lived a simple life.

She is preceded in death by her husband Wesley and her parents.

She is survived by her brother Jody Kaderka (Kathi) and her sisters Rosalie (Kaderka) Fowler, Margaret (Kaderka) Michalek (Frank), Phyllis Kaderka, Albina (Kaderka) Thompson (Gordon) and Mildred (Kaderka) Green (Wayne).

Visitation and Rosary will be 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at Providence Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Granger, Texas.
