Louis Edward Huff left this world on June 10, 2014 at 66 years of age. He was born in Taylor on November 5, 1947 to Louis J. and Frances (Jezisek) Huff. He graduated from St. Mary’s High School in 1965. On June 4, 1966, he married the love of his life, Dianna Wuthrich.
After graduation he worked as a mechanic at Taylor Motor Company for 12 years before opening his own business “City Auto Service” which he and Dianna ran for 35 years before illness caused him to retire in December 2012.
His love of working on cars began when he bought his first car, a 1947 Chevy Coup, which had parts of the engine in the trunk, and so he learned by overhauling the motor and replacing brakes with the help of his dad. He was a member of the Thunderbolts Car Club. In addition to working on cars he liked to go fishing and boating, as well as spending time hunting and scouting with his grandson.
Louis was preceded in death by his parents, his in-laws Alex and Rose Wuthrich, his sister Linda Huff, and brothers-in-law Tommy Cruz and David Wuthrich.
He is survived by his wife Dianna, his daughter Sherry Stork (Stanley), and his grandson Ryan Lawler.
He is also survived by sisters Glenda Huff and Irene Mikulencak (Danny), sister-in-law Betty Cruz, and brothers-in-law James Wuthrich (Susan) and Wayne Wuthrich.
