Desy Mueller of Taylor, Texas passed away Thursday, May 1, 2014 in Granger, Texas. She was 86 years old when she went to live with Jesus.
Desy was born May 13, 1927, to Albert F. and Mary E. (Wuthrich) Burow. She was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church in West Taylor. On June 12, 1947 she married Rudolph O. Mueller in Dallas, Texas.
Desy loved to travel with her husband. She enjoyed her church, continuning education class at Temple Jr. College, reading, jokes and eating out. Desy also enjoyed her various jobs with Sears, Taylor Manufacturing, and the State of Texas. She was a strong supporter for the Paralyzed Veterans of America.
Desy is survived by her daughter, Vonna Mueller; two grandsons, Ryan Strange and wife Heidi and Grant Mueller and wife Natalie; great granddaughter, Carlynn Elizabeth Strange; sister, Millie Zamorsky; sisters-in-law, Shirley Burow, Lydia Burow, and Delphine Samuelson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Rudolph Mueller; son, Randy Mueller; sister, Mary Leschber and husband Gus; brothers Milton Burow and Immanuel Burow; sister-in-law, Lydia Witte and husband Albert; brothers-in-law, Walter Mueller and wife Rosie and Willie Zamorsky; nephews, Kevin Zamorsky and Buck Mueller.
Pallbearers will be Glenn Mueller, Dan Byers, Bo Stiles, David Burow, Dennis Leschber, and Gary Zamorsky. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tom Jackson and Chuck Pate.
Celebration of Life Services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, May 5, 2014 at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Burial will follow at the Taylor City Cemetery.
