Carol S. Davidson

Carol Ann Scruggs Davidson went to be with her Lord and Savior April 25, 2014 at 12 noon with her loving husband Van and son Chad by her side.

Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Monday April 28, 2014 at Providence Funeral Home.

Celebration of Life Services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at Providence Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Lawrence Chapel Cemetery.

Carol was born October 6, 1959 to Joyce and Joyce (Trlica) Scruggs. She graduated from Thrall High School in 1978. She married Van Davidson in 2004. Carol had a prosperous business career with several successful Womens Fitneess Centers. She fought a long hard battle with cancer for 12 years. Carol was a very giving and caring person that took care of everyone.

Carol was preceded in death by her father Joyce Ray Scruggs.

She is survived by her husband Van Davidson of Magnolia; sons, Lance Walton and Chad Walton and wife Blaire; grandchildren, Tylor Walton of Tomball, Lyla Rose, Anley and Corbin Walton all of Breaux Bridge, LA.; mother Joyce Ann Scruggs; 3 brothers, Michael Scruggs, Gary Scruggs and wife Gail, and Gregg Scruggs and wife Deniece; sisters, Sharon Parker and husband Gaylon, Cindy Scruggs, and Shelia Susan and husband Jimmy; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Lance Walton, Chad Walton, Tylor Walton, Gary Scruggs, Greg Scruggs, Michael Scruggs, Ned Davidson, Joe Scott, Frankie Trlica, Gaylon Parker, and Jimmy Susan.
