Thomas "Tj" Cross

Thomas "TJ" Cross, 26, of Taylor, TX went home to the Lord on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 ending his 7 year battle with cancer.

Thomas was born in Taylor, TX on November 16, 1987 to parents Norman Cross and Sheree Hewitt Cross. He lived in Texas until the age of 13 after which he moved to Kentucky. He graduated from North Bullitt High School in Shepherdsville, KY in 2006. While in high school, he participated in ROTC. Thomas returned to Texas in 2011.

Thomas was the second youngest of eight siblings. He had a lot of love and loved hard. He was a wonderful, loving uncle who was often found playing with his nieces and nephews or cuddling up watching a movie with them. He loved North Carolina Tar Heel basketball and would watch as many games as he could.

He leaves behind his mother, Sheree Hewitt Cross; father and step-mother, Norman and Judy Cross; brother, John Cross, wife Sherry and daughter Kimberly; brother Robert Cross, wife Cristi and their children Stephen and Haley; sister, Jaime Cross and Juan Trevino III, and son Juan Trevino IV; sister, Crystal Cross and daughter Avery David; sister Karen Cross and Brian Blakley, and daughters Amanda Cross and Elexus Blakley; sister Linda Philpott and children Carmen and John; sister Diane Cross and children Tommy Cross and Ashley Watson.

Visitation will be held at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor, TX on Saturday, April 19th, from 6-8pm. A celebration of his life will continue at the Red Fox following visitation. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations to the Thomas Cross Benefit Fund.
