Floy Norris Schwarz Schwab

A Christian Service and Burial will be conducted on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor, TX for Floy Lillian Schwab, 84, who passed away on Saturday March 1, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. in Sugarland, TX. Burial will take place at the Taylor City Cemetery.

Floy was the daughter of the late Volney Floyd Norris and Lillian Irene Freitag of Thorndale, TX.

Floy was born in Taylor, TX and lived and graduated from High School in Thorndale, TX. She was a long time resident of Austin, TX and retired from the Department of Public Safety after 27 years of service. She was a resident of Missouri City, TX for the past five years where she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Floy really loved and enjoyed her family and friends. She loved to travel, she enjoyed her cruise ship vacations, casino trips, and really enjoyed her travel and time on Galveston Island. Spending family days on Sundays enjoying her football games, food, and family fun was the highlight of her week.

She is survived by her daughter Monica Durand, son-in-law Gene Durand, grandson Chanse, and great granddaughter Macie.

She was preceeded in death by her husband Frank Schwab.

The family request that visitation be observed at Providence Funeral Home Taylor, TX on Tuesday evening March 4, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Visiting hours will continue Wednesday morning March 5, 2014 from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service at 11:00 A.M.
