Anton Rudolph Huf, Jr.

Anton Rudolph Huf Jr., age 87, of Taylor, Tx., passed away on Tuesday, February 11th, 2014 at Granger Villa Nursing Home in Granger. Anton was born on April 18, 1926 in Corn Hill, Tx. He served in the United States Army in World War II and was honorably discharged in 1946.
He is survived by his wife, Bernice Huf of Taylor, daughter Frances Michalek and husband Jerry of Granger, son Harry Huf and wife Betty of Georgetown, son Leonard Huf and wife Lillie of Granger, daughter Judy Carter and husband Dennis of Taylor, daughter Janette Madsen and husband Ronnie of Round Rock and daughter Mary Watson and husband Gary of Lampasas. Also by one sister, Albina Teltow of Granger.
He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. He is preceeded in death by two grandsons, one brother and three sisters.
Pallbearers will be Harry Huf, Leonard Huf, Dennis Carter, Daniel Hromcik, David Tschoerner and Tony Hlavaty.
Visitation will be Friday, February 14th from 6 – 8 with a rosary being recited at 7:15 at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor. Service will be Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Corn Hill with burial following in the Holy Trinity Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the "Wounded Warrior Foundation".
