Georgia Zbranek Kasparek

Georgia Zbranek Kasparek, 87 died on January 25th, in Pflugerville.

Georgia was born on June 13, 1926 in Granger, TX, the youngest of eight children of Joseph and Louise Janak Zbranek. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, 5 sisters, husband Albert Kasparek, and infant son.

Georgia attended St Cyril & Methodius Catholic School in Granger and graduated from Granger High School in 1944. She married Albert on February 14, 1960. She worked as a medical assistant to Drs. Watson, Makinson, and Clearman in Bartlett, dental assistant to Dr. Sobotik, secretary at St. Mary’s Church and secretary for the Texas Department of Human Services in Austin and Taylor. She retired as a medical records clerk for Scott and White-Johns Clinic in 1991. Some of her favorite hobbies were baking, gardening, and recently painting.

She was a member of St. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church and St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She was a member of St. Ann’s Altar Society in Taylor and KJZT in Granger.

She is survived by her daughter Amy Androff, son-in-law Keith Androff, and grandchildren Amanda Plast, Eric Androff, Pamela Androff, and Adam Androff. She is also survived by her sister- in -law Ella Mae Zbranek of Bartlett, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Pallbearers are Joe Blackmon, Norman Blackmon, Linn Walker,
Ernest Prihoda, Shannon Kasper, and Billy Collins.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 29th at 6:00 pm with rosary at 7:00 pm at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor. Services will be on Thursday, January 30th at 10am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Taylor with burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
