Jordan Zane Tiemann

December 4, 1983 — January 5, 2014

On January 5, 2014, JORDAN ZANE TIEMANN, left this world to be with his Savior. He was born on Sunday, December 4, 1983. Jordan was a blessing, especially to his family. As a twin, there was an undeniable unique bond with his brother, Justin Chevis Tiemann. They were affectionately referred to by their friends not as Jordan and Justin but as “twin and twin”. Jordan and his brother were inseparable from the day they were born until Jordan’s passing.
Jordan was baptized, received his First Holy Communion, served his church as an altar boy and reaffirmed his faith through Confirmation at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Taylor. He had a personal relationship with Christ. Jordan also played an active role in the recovery community. His own recovery process made him passionate about helping, supporting, and inspiring others with addiction. He spoke often at meetings, sharing his feelings and experiences with others. As a result, he was respected and loved by many in the recovery community.

Jordan never met a stranger and always made sure everyone around him felt comfortable. He had a quick wit and loved to make people smile and laugh. He was a kind and gentle soul with a huge heart and compassion for others. He was an outstanding student and athlete and played soccer, baseball, football and basketball. He was also a Cub Scout. Jordan will be missed by all he touched but mostly he will be missed by his family. We are comforted knowing he is free from his worldly struggles and pain and has found peace with God. We will carry memories of Jordan in our hearts forever.
Jordan is survived by his parents, Lynn Tiemann, Donna and Rick Connell, his twin brother, Justin Tiemann and his sister, Lynsey and her husband, Stephen Lefner, grandparents Joyce Domsch and Joe and Billie Repa. He also leaves behind a niece, Zayda Tiemann and two nephews, Zane Tiemann and Weston Lefner and many other family members. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Suzanna Tiemann and U.A. “Sonny” Domsch.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Providence Funeral Home with a Rosary at 7:00 P.M.
Celebration of Life Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery in Granger, Texas
