Wesley Jarrod Ness of Taylor was born March 29, 1973 in Temple, Texas. He went to be with his Lord on December 31, 2013.
Wesley was born a very special person. Living with a congenital heart defect, he embraced each day with faith and vigor. Life was precious to him, as was his family and those blessed to call him “friend.” He was a devoted father, son, brother, and uncle to his immediate family. Wesley was a 1992 graduate of Taylor High School. His hobbies included model cars, barbecuing, working on cars and fixing anything, playing pool and dominoes, giving wise counsel to anyone who sought it (and sometimes even when they didn’t). He loved to laugh and brought joy to the lives of all who knew him. He was an avid Longhorn fan.
Wesley is preceded in death by his grandparents Hazel and Ernest Boring.
He is survived by his beloved children Braeden and Hannah; mother Brenda Ness; sisters Renada Ness and Lea Ness; and nieces and nephews Jacob Ness, Rollan Espinoza, Angel and Ahmyli Falcon, and Kaddy Maravilla.
A celebration of Wesley’s life will be held at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor on Friday, January 3 at 3:00 pm, officiated by Rev. Lee Caldwell. Interment will be at Taylor City Cemetery immediately following the services.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that charitable donations be made to the Easterly Baptist Church, 1402 FM 2096, Franklin, TX 77856.
