Zelma Maxine Gorham

Our beloved Zelma Gorham, age 95, longtime resident of Travis County, was called home to be with her loving husband of 62 years, Bill, on December 28, 2013 to the safety in the arms of Christ.

Zelma spent her early married life raising her family as a devoted mother and wife. After the kids were grown she became an LVN and worked in both California and Texas. She was a long time employee of John’s Community Hospital in Taylor where she retired.

Zelma is survived by her daughter Sandra Gelso and husband Matt; son Gene Gorham and wife Kelly; grandchildren Jesse, Terry, Sean and Tara; and great grandchildren Shannon, Logan and Tyler Vaughn; Roy, Katie, Rhiannon and Kevin Vaughn; Ryan and Ashley Gorham; and Stephanie, Garett and Savannah Lindgren; and four great-great grandchildren. She will also be missed by her nephew Erick Annis of Dover-Foxcroft, Maine and his children Ethan, and Emily; and her niece Lorinda Schrager from upper Montclaire, New Jersey and her family.

Celebration of Life Services will be 1:00 P.M., Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Providence Funeral Home. Burial will follow at St. Johns Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery – Richland Community (near Pflugerville).
