Donald Schrader

Donald E. Schrader passed away on Friday, November 22nd 2013 at the Scott & White Hospital in Round Rock, Texas.
Donald was born on May 7th, 1934 to Florence and Frieda Schrader of Thorndale, who preceded him in death.
He is survived by: his loving wife, Sybil whom he was married to for 60 years; his son and daughter in-law, Rod and Connie; his two grandsons, Clayton and Ryan; brother in-law, Johnnie Zycha; and sister in-laws: Dorothy Zycha and Evelyn Leshikar.
Donald retired from the Texas Alcohol and Beverage Commission after 30 years, as the Head Accounting Manager. He volunteered his time coaching for Pee Wee, Little and Pony Leagues in baseball. He enjoyed playing softball for the Brethren Church and also loved hunting, fishing and camping with his family. Every June, he, his wife and several friends attended trips to Las Vegas. Donald spent the last 5 months of his life at home, under the care of his wife and care-givers.

Pallbearers are: Victor Prcin Jr., Glenn Konarek, Michael Bachmeyar, Darrell Prcin, Lonnie Zycha and Garry Prcin.
Honorary Pallbearers are: His hunting buddies and all of his friends at Moe's

Visitation will be held at Providence Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 26th from 6pm-8pm.
Services will be held at Taylor Brethren Church at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 with burial to follow at Taylor City Cemetery
