Gary Lee Filla

Gary Lee Filla, 54, of Conroe, formerly of Granger, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family after a 5 year struggle with cancer on November 9, 2013.

Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Monday, November 11, 2013 at Providence Funeral Home.

Celebration of Life Services will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at Providence Funeral Home with Rev. James Hejl officiating. Burial will follow at the Taylor City Cemetery.

Gary was born in Taylor, Texas on April 5, 1959 to Leroy and Janice (Tomlinson) Filla.

Gary was the owner of Filla Cable Contracting and enjoyed the traveling that came with business. He liked to do landscaping and enjoyed just being outdoors. Gary led a very spiritual life and enjoyed Bible studies and sending scriptures to his family.

Gary is survived by his wife Juana Filla; children, Yvonne Hernandez, Brandon Filla, Chelsea Filla, Jenalee Filla, Jasmine Filla, Garrison Filla, and Cameron Filla; Grandchildren, Kiana and Kierra Hernandez; parents, Leroy Filla and Janice Leslie (David); brothers and sisters, Carolyn Estrada (Antonio), Brenda Bartosh, Tommy Filla (Dawn); numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Randy and Dodi Salmans.

Pallbearers will be Randy Salmans, James Martinka, Dylan Filla, Dennis Bartosh, Antonio Estrada, Milton Filla. Honorary Pallbearer will be Larry Martinka.
