Donald Glenn Withrow

Donald Glenn Withrow, of Round Rock, Texas, passed away Thursday, October 24, 2013 of cancer, at the young age of 80.

Don was born in Cleveland County, North Carolina on January 3, 1933. He actively served in the Army as a Medical Aidman from March of 1955 to March of 1957 and was released from military service reserve in March 1963. Don spent half his life traveling all over the world, from making woman’s stockings in a work mill, to construction as an excavator, owning his own moving business and a Diesel Truck Garage business and finally, doing what he loved most driving a truck. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, playing on his Ham/CB radios, reading and fishing. He will be missed for all his stories, singing and his temperament.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Anne Warlick and Sherwood Withrow.

He is survived by his brother Scott Withrow; his first spouse Cordie Idale Rogers of Sulphur Springs, their children John Withrow of Taylor; Barbara Muniz and Joyce Hamby of Liberty Hill; and 13 Grandchildren and 22 Great Grandchildren, and his 2nd spouse Melquaides Vargas Withrow of Dallas, Texas, their children Michael Withrow, Bobby Withrow, Victoria Edwards, Michelle Mosher and Angela Withrow all of Round Rock, and 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

The family asked in lieu of flowers to donate to their favorite cancer research in his honor.
We will have a Celebration of Life for him at 12:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 3, 2013 to be held at the VFW Post 10427 located at 8760 FM 2243 Leander Texas 78641
