Jonathan Edward Carrizales passed away on July 6, 2013, surrounded by his family, at the age of 39.
Jonathan was born on August 21, 1973 to Edward and Alice Carrizales in Taylor Texas.
He is survived by his parents Eddy and Alice Carrizales, his children Ilyssa and Bryce Carrizales of Hutto. His sister Charlotte Herrera husband James of Taylor, sister Pamela Evans husband Dave of Thrall. Nephews Christopher Carrizales, Lorenzo (Larry) Sanchez, Niece Emma Evans, Great Nephew and God son Luke Edward Carrizales, mother to his children Amy Mcglothlin and his children’s little sister Lyla Pattin. Paternal Grandmother Connie Carrizales, many Aunts, Uncles , cousins and friends.
In his lifetime he is preceded in death and will be greeted in Heaven by his Maternal grandparents Ygnacio and Concepcion Dominguez. Paternal Grandfather Ambrosio (Bob) Carrizales. Uncle Juan Dominguez, Aunt Anita Lopez, Cousins Becky Gutierrez, Orlando Lopez.
Jonathan fought a 4 ½ year battle with Colon Cancer. The entire time he never complained about his disease. His biggest concern was his Children. They are his greatest accomplishment and he was very proud of them. Jonathan was an avid fan of the “Texas Longhorns”. During football season he could be found out on the back patio with the big screen TV rooting for the “Horns”. He was employed with Free Flight Systems in Waco Texas.
Funeral services are entrusted to Providence Funeral home in Taylor. Rosary will be Monday at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be recited Tuesday 10:00 am at St. Mary’s of the Assumption, in Taylor. Burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Taylor. Dinner reception to follow at KC Hall in Taylor.
Pall Bearers will be Lee Canales, Joe Lechler, David Ariola, Keith MaCuk, Chris Kuempel, Stephen Bega.
Honorary Pall Bearers are Dwayne Ariola and John Ojeda.
