Hertha Julia Tschoerner

Hertha Julia Tschoerner, 94, of Taylor, Texas, died Sunday, June 9, 2013 at Granger Villa.

Rosary will be at 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at Providence Funeral Home Chapel.

Celebration of Life Mass will be at 3:00 P.M., Thursday, June 13, 2013 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Taylor with Rev. Msgr. Lonnie Urban officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.

Hertha was born May 10, 1919, in Williamson County to Frank and Annie (Schaefer) Tschoerner.

Hertha was a lifelong member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and a member of the Catholic Daughters.

Hertha worked for law offices as a legal secretary for 44 years in Taylor.

Hertha was independent, loved cats, reading, bowling, driving and traveling.

Survivors include cousins Robert A. Schaefer and wife Linda of Tomball, Margaret Ann Hayes and husband Hank of Olive Branch, Mississippi, Anton G. Kroschewsky of Taylor, and Loretta Orsak and husband John of Del Valle, lifelong friend, Frances Talbot of Taylor and more cousins and friends.
