Alfred John "Critter" Findeisen, Jr.

Alfred John “Critter” Findeisen, Jr., age 67 of Del Valle passed away on June 5, 2013. He was born November 26, 1945 in Sparks, Texas to Leona and Alfred John Findeisen Sr.
He graduated from Taylor High school in 1964 and served in the United States Air Force serving 11 months in Vietnam. He retired after 30 years at Huntsman Corp.
His true passion in life was farming. He was Central TX Farmer of the Year in 1985 and Travis County Cotton Producer of the Year in 1985 and 1986. He also served on the board of Taylor Cotton Compress.
Critter will be missed by all who know him, and it was said he never met a stranger.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Katherine; sister, Leona Rieger and husband, Charles of Round Rock; brother, Leon Findeisen and wife, Elizabeth of Leavenworth, Kansas ; sister-in-law and brother –in-law, Karen and Herbert Raesz; brother-in-law, Ralph Bachmayer, and numerous niece and nephews.
Alfred is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Oscar Findeisen, and sister, Mary Lou Bachmayer;
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor, TX
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 9, 2013 at Redeemer Lutheran Church 1500 W. Anderson Lane in Austin with burial to follow at Taylor City Cemetery
