Rudy Richard Kveton

Rudy Richard Kveton was born on Thursday, September 8, 1949 in Taylor, Texas, the son of Richard Frank Kveton and Hermina Frances Stuchlik Kveton. Rudy grew up in Georgetown, Texas and graduated from Georgetown High School on May 20, 1969. On September 9, 1984, he was joined in holy matrimony to Brenda Hall in a ceremony officiated by the Rev. Daniel J. Marek at the Taylor Brethren Church, and Rudy and Brenda were devoted to each other as husband and wife for just over 16 years until Brenda’s sudden death on September 19, 2000. Rudy was an active and deeply committed member of the Taylor Brethren Church and the Encouragers Sunday School Class. He loved studying the Bible, being around people, and helping anyone in need.

Rudy left this earthly life at a Cedar Park nursing facility on Thursday, May 23, 2013, at the age of 63 years, 8 months, and 15 days. He is mourned by many friends and extended family members whose lives he brightened with his deep love, joy, and faith.

Visitation will be 3:00–5:00 P.M., Sunday, May 26, 2013 at Providence Funeral Home. A celebration of life service officiated by the Rev. James Hejl will be held at the Taylor Brethren Church on Monday, May 27, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Weir Cemetery near Georgetown.
