LeVee Elizabeth Ohman, our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, age 85 of Taylor, Texas, was called home by our Lord on Monday, January 28, 2013, at Manor Oaks Nursing Rehabilitation Center in Rockdale, Texas.
A visitation will be held on January 29, 2013, from 6-8 pm at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor, Texas. A second visitation will be held at E.E. Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville, Texas on January 31, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. with the funeral on Friday, February 1, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Watson's Chapel with interment at the Watson Chapel Cemetery.
LeVee Elizabeth Ohman was born on September 17, 1927 to Dan and Emma Marshall in San Augustine County, Texas. She graduated from Jasper High School in 1945. After graduation, she moved to Beaumont, Texas, where she met and married August Ohman on December 21, 1946.
Mrs. Ohman is preceded in death by her husband, August B. Ohman; two daughters, Donna and Cindy Ohman, her parents, 2 sisters, Berniece Martindale and Bobbilene McLemore.
Survivors include one daughter, Barbara Keck of Taylor, Texas; two sons, John Edward Ohman and his wife, Deborah, of Fannett, Texas, and James Victor Ohman and his wife, Kathy, of LaBelle, Texas; eight grandchildren, Brent, Derek and Scott Keck; Alisha Gaffney and Deaven Ohman, Brandon Ohman, Cortney Gill, and Shannon Corley; 13 great-grandchildren, Brenden and Taylin Gaffney, Tyler and Kasey Ohman; Olivia, Selah, Sophia and Christopher Ohman and Levi Corley; Hannah, Benjamin, Sarah and Kyle Keck; her "other" children, Danny and Earlyne Delahoussaye, Patrick and Rebecca Tello, and Judy Myers; two sisters, Helen Cryer and Nova D DuBose, both of Jasper, Texas, numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Aubrey DuBose, Kent McLemore, Bill Simpson, Luke Latino, Herman Miller, Ronnie Outlaw, and Jerry Marshall.
We would like to extend our gratitude to our family and friends for their love, support and prayers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Odysee Hospice of Temple, Manor Oaks Nursing Facility or Watson Chapel Cemetery Fund.
