Lillian Marie Jansky Klepac, 85, passed away peacefully in the early morning of January 22 at after suffering a stroke last week.
Rosary service will be held at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor, TX, on Thursday, January 24 at 7 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 25 at St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church in Pflugerville at 10 a.m. followed by burial at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Taylor.
Lillian was born on June 7, 1927, in Holland, Texas, to Cathrine Macek Jansky and George Jansky. She ran a daycare center from her home for many years, and then her love for growing plants turned into owning and operating a plant shop called Plants ‘n Things in Austin for over ten years. Upon retiring, she and Alfonse operated the concession stand for University Hills Optimist club for many years. She was a member of the KJZT and St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. Her interests included gardening and traveling throughout the U.S. and to Eastern Europe where both her parents were born.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfonse Robert Klepac of Austin; her mother, father, five brothers, a sister, and a half-sister. She is survived by her six children, Robert Klepac and wife Julia of Austin; Tom Klepac and wife Sara of Kenner, LA; Bill Klepac and wife Teresa of Cedar Park; Alice Klepac of Pflugerville; Rose Klepac Prestridge and husband Paul of Pflugerville; and James Klepac and wife Beverly of College Station. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, Brad and wife Tina, Michael Wayne and wife Debbie, Kelly, Laurie, T.J., Allan and fiancé Aimee, Matt and wife Beth, Stephanie, Brandon, and Kaylinn. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren and godson, Donald Jansky.
Serving as pallbearers will be six of her grandchildren, Brad Klepac, Allan Klepac, Matt Klepac, Brandon Klepac, Kelly Klepac, and Stephanie Prestridge.
