Lorenzo Hernandez

Our beloved father Lorenzo “Pancho” Hernandez, 83, of Thorndale, TX, passed away peacefully on Thursday January 17, 2013 at his home. Born in Donna, Texas on August 10, 1929 to Abundio and Vicenta Hernandez. He lived most of his life in Thorndale with his loving and caring wife, Zenaida.
Pancho was a great man full of laughter and jokes. He enjoyed sharing his great stories from back in the old days with family and friends. He was employed some years with Rodenbeck’s in Thorndale and Tomecek Electric Motor Repair in Taylor, TX.
Pancho is preceded in death by his infant son Rolando , his parents and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his wife Zenaida. Three daughters: Molly Dominguez (Lee), Rosie Bennight (Rick), Michele Frei (Scott); Six sons: Lorenzo Hernandez Jr. (Vicky); Joe Ochoa (Cindy), Hector Hernandez (Diane), Rollie Hernandez (Diane), Danny Hernandez (Brenda), Benny Hernandez (Stephanie). He has 20 grandchildren, 18 Great grandchildren and 1 Great Great grandchild. As well as brother , sisters , nieces, nephews and other friends.
Pallbearers: Grandchildren- Ray Ochoa, Sammy Ochoa, Blayne Hernandez, Taran Hernandez, Anthony Dominguez, David Hernandez, and Steven Ayala.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 20, 2013 from 6pm until 8pm at the Providence Funeral Home Taylor, TX.
Funeral services will be Monday, January 21 at 3pm at the Providence Funeral Home Taylor, TX with burial to follow at Thorndale City Cemetery.
