Marie Agnes Kirchner, 78, of Taylor, TX died on December 9, 2012.
Marie was born August 7, 1934 to Willie and Tillie Riethmeyer Kuhl in Williamson County. She was married to Standley W. Kirchner Sr. on August 10, 1952 in Taylor and together they had four children. In addition to helping Standley on the family farm, she also worked at St. Paul Lutheran Day Care and SPJST Senior Care until retirement.
Marie was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Taylor, and was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Daughters and Alter Society.
She is survived by her four children, Kathryn Pavlicek and friend Clifton Gonzenbach, William Kirchner and wife Brenda, Standley Kirchner Jr. and wife Cheryl, and Joan Sladek and husband Leland; grandchildren Shane (Misty) Pavlicek, Lance Pavlicek, Loren (Tamara) Kirchner, Letisha (Randall) Mouser, Lynette Kirchner, Ashley Kirchner, Joshua Kirchner, Jordon Kirchner, Chelsae Carmickle, Niccole (D. J.) Jones, Victoria (Devon) McCulloch, Kailey (Amos) Davidson, and Garret Sladek; with six great grandchildren; two sisters, Doris and husband Melvin Schwettman and Willadean Hubble; sister-in-law, Gail Kuhl; and her dear friend, Gilbert Zuehlke.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Standley, her parents and brother, Daniel Kuhl.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday evening at Providence Funeral Home. Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, December 12, 2012, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Taylor, TX.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Mary’s Catholic Church specifying the new roof and repair fund.
