Janie Pachicano

Janie Pachicano, 87, of Taylor, TX went to be with her heavenly Father on October 29, 2012. She passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born May 16, 1925 in Granger, TX the daughter of late Juan Reynaga and Alifonsa Martinez Reynaga. On September 11, 1940 , she married Jim Pachicano, deceased.

Janie has been a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of the Revelation of Christ Church/ Iglesia Revelacion de Cristo and has devoted her life to serving the Lord and did so faithfully. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, visiting with her family, and listening to her Praise and Worship music. Janie was a giving woman of God and will be missed dearly by all her family.

She is survived by her thirteen children: daughter Marcie Alderete of Taylor , daughter Martha Flores of Taylor, daughter and son-in-law Pat and Lazaro Pina of Round Rock, son and daughter-in-law Jesse and Lucy Pachicano of Taylor, daughter and son-in law Janie and Raymond Lopez of Taylor, daughter and son-in-law Alice & Ramon Tellez of Taylor, daughter and son-in-law Alifonsa and Richard Martinez of Taylor, daughter and son-in-law Rachel and Raymond Ortiz of Round Rock, daughter and son-in-law Mary and Guillermo Guerrero of Thrall, son and daughter-in-law Frank and Jean Pachicano of Lufkin, son and daughter-in-law Robert and Debbie Pachicano of Taylor, daughter and son-in-law Sandra and Joseph Camarda of Taylor, son Oscar Saucedo of Taylor, 53 grandchildren, 84 great grandchildren, and 29 great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Arnold Alderete, Paul Pachicano, Adolph Flores, Jesse Ruiz, Pedro Cruz, and Joe Delgadillo.

Janie was preceded in death by her husband Jim and son Manuel Pachicano. Grandchildren Robert Pachicano Jr, Paul Carmona Pachicano, May Carreon, and John Flores.

In lieu of flowers, family and friends may donate to the building fund for Revelation of Christ Church/ Iglesia Revelacion de Cristo, City National Bank.
Visitation will be held on Friday November 2, 2012 5-8 pm at Providence Funeral Home Taylor, TX. A service will be held on Saturday November 3, 2012 at 10 am at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor, TX. Burial will follow at the Taylor City Cemetery.
