Caston Lane Gillmore

Caston Lane Gillmore, of Thorndale, was born June 22, 2012. He was baptized into Christ on September 9, 2012. Heaven’s gain was our loss when our sweet baby was called by our Lord while he slept on October 29, 2012 at the age of 4 months and 1 week.

In Caston’s short time on Earth, he gave his family an amazing amount of joy and touched many people with his sweet smile. He experienced lots of cuddle time and countless kisses from his family and friends, who look forward to snuggling with him again in heaven one day.

Caston is deeply loved by his parents, Jimmy and Gina Gillmore; adoring big brothers, Dawson and Payton Gillmore; and treasured grandparents, Freddie and Carol Wuensche of Thorndale, Denny and Lisa Gillmore of Sharp, and Lana Gillmore of Amarillo; as well as, his caring uncles, aunts, and cousins.

It was an honor that Caston would have served as the Thorndale Volunteer Firemen Department’s mascot for the upcoming year.

Visitation will be held at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor on Thursday, November 1, from 5:00 pm-8:00 pm with a short prayer service at 7:00 pm. The celebration of Caston’s brief life will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Thorndale on Friday, November 2, at 10:00 am, with burial to follow. Pastor James Mann will be officiating.

Pallbearers will be Caston’s uncles, Leslie Wuensche, Darrell Wuensche, and Kyle Wuensche, and family friend Clayton Cargill.
