Hilma Pauline Sutton left her earthly home on October 21, 2012 for her heavenly home at the age of 93. She was born on August 16, 1919 in Taylor, Texas to Eric and Hilma Johnson who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Emil Henry Sutton; a son, Jack Wayne Sutton; a sister, Helen Johnson; a brother, Marvin Johnson and a special aunt, Bettie Lundberg.
She was a member of Tenth Street Methodist Church and was baptized and confirmed at an early age. She had been a homemaker all of her life and a caregiver for several family members. She had been a resident of the S.P.J.S.T. Rest Home for 3 ½ years.
She is survived by a son, Charles Sutton and wife, Delia of Taylor; two daughters, Janie Czimskey and husband, Kenneth of Taylor and Betty Lu Headrick and husband, Billy of Rockdale. She is survived by one granddaughter, Tammy Sefcik and husband, Wallace of Walburg and four grandsons, Jay Sutton of Coupland, Bill Headrick, Jr. and wife, Sylvia of Manor, Shawn Sutton of Victoria and Mark Trevino and wife, Leslie of Leander and five great grandchildren, Tiana Sefcik of San Angelo, Wyatt Sefcik of Corpus Christi, Bill Headrick III and Melissa Headrick of Manor and Lyric Trevino of Leander. Two sister-in-laws also survive, Mary Sutton and Margie Sutton, both of Taylor and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers, Jay Sutton, Bill Headrick, Jr., Wallace Sefcik, Shawn Sutton, Mark Trevino and Wyatt Sefcik.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at Providence Funeral home.
Services will be 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at Providence Funeral Home with Dr. Travis Summerlin officiating. Burial to follow at the Taylor City Cemetery.
