Hattie Becker

Hedwig Frieda “Hattie” Becker, 93, of Taylor, passed away peacefully in her home on October 6, 2012. She was born on May 25, 1919 in High Pointe, Texas to Paul & Martha Czimskey.

Hattie was a loving wife, dedicated mother and beloved grandmother. She is survived by her daughters Alice Kasper & husband Emil, Evelyn Farnham & husband Keith, Darlene Polasek & husband Johnny, Lorene Wilhelm, Linda Huf, Kathy McIver & husband Kirk; sons Ervin Becker & wife Ruth, and Ray Becker. She was also blessed with 28 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. All of whom will deeply miss her.

She was preceded in death by her husband Perry Becker.

Visitation will be held Tuesday October 9, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor. Services will be held Wednesday October 10, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Providence Funeral Home with burial at St. Peter’s Church Cemetery in Coupland.

Memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church 401 W. 7th Street - Taylor, Texas.
