Doyle Davis

Doyle Gene Davis, 80, of Taylor, Texas passed away on August 14, 2012.

Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Thursday, August 16, 2012 at Providence Funeral Home.

Celebration of Life Services will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, August 18, 2012 at Providence Funeral Home with Dr. Travis Summerlin and Rodney Kruse officiating. Burial will follow at the Taylor City Cemetery.

Doyle was born August 24, 1931 in Austin, Texas. On June 21, 1969 he married Doris Parker. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Doyle was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Jana Huber.

He is survived by his wife, Doris Davis of Taylor; son, Gaylon and wife Sharon of Taylor; son-in-law, Ronald Huber and wife Suzanne of Taylor; grandsons, Travis Huber and wife Tara and Nelson Parker and wife Tristan all of Hutto; granddaughter, Amy Gooch and husband Robert of Magnolia; great grandchildren, Braxton and Addison Parker and Amber Gooch; numerous cousins.

Pallbearers will be Travis Huber, Nelson Parker, Robert Gooch, Ronald Huber, Thomas Engle, Jim Walker and Luke Spoonts.
