Junious “JC” Boney
August 10, 1930 - August 13, 2012

JC Boney, age 82 of Noack, Texas passed peacefully at his home on Monday August 13, 2012. He was born in Biloxi, Mississippi on August 10, 1930 to Lee and Clemorse Boney. JC served his country in the US Army from 1948-1970. While stationed at Fort Hood he met the love of his life Nelda Bachmeyer of Taylor who he married on August 10, 1957. Upon retiring from the military he worked for Construction Specialties of Austin for 25 loyal years.
JC is survived by his children Gary Eiben and wife Carolyn, Stephen Eiben and wife Gay, Cindy Shaw and Gary Nowicki, Brenda Valdez and husband Frank, Susan Rohlack and Will Crenshaw, Jeff Boney and wife Ory. He was a loving grandpa to 18 grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters Eulalie Balius, Joyce Thibodeaux, Rosalie Fisher, and brothers Clement R. Boney, Lee G. Boney, and John R. Boney. As well as numerous nephews and nieces. JC was preceded in death by his parents, wife Nelda, one son Kenneth Eiben, and brother Dennis “Pearch” Boney.

JC spent his free time on his many trips home to Mississippi to visit his family. He also enjoyed the time he spent with his best friend George Reed at the deer lease. His hobbies were hunting, fishing, and spending time with his friends and family.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons Jason Shaw, Josh Ochoa, David Eiben, Michael Shaw, Kenneth Eiben, Matthew Shaw, Frankie Valdez, Jered Boney and great-grandsons, Ethan Shaw and Clayton Anderson

There will be a visitation at Providence Funeral Home of Taylor, Thursday from 6-8. The funeral service officiated by Father Lonnie Urban with military honors will follow on Friday at 1pm also at Providence. Interment will be at City of Taylor Cemetery.

Afterwards the family will receive visitors at the SPJST in Taylor.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Darren Kocs and the staff of Texas Oncology, Guardian Home Care, Billy Mucha and Donna Miller for the care during his final months.
