Martha A. Moreno

Martha Alderete Moreno, 85, of Austin passed May 26, 2012 at St. David’s Hospital in Austin.

Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a Wake service at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at Jerusalem Pentecostal Church in Taylor.

Celebration of Life Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at the Jerusalem Pentecostal Church with Rev. Daniel Alderete officiating. Burial will follow at the Taylor City Cemetery.

Martha was born May 3, 1927 in Taylor, Texas to Antonio and Feliz (Andrada) Alderete.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents and three children, Juanita, Auturo, and Alejandro Moreno.

She is survived by her daughters, Angie Rodriguez (Robert), Linda Morida, Florinda Vera (Benjamin) all of Austin, Blanca Miller (Justin) of Elgin, Sylvia Lechler (Alvaro) and Mary Lou Pevehouse (Thomas) of Taylor; sons, Oscar Rodriguez (Lydia) of Taylor, Moses Moreno (Paula) of Austin, and Bonefacio Moreno, Jr. (Carolyn) of Abilene; her companion for 33 years, Federico “Pedro” Ortiz; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
