Martha F. Millner peacefully began her next journey on March 30, 2012 at home in Austin, Texas surrounded by loving family.
Martha was born July 12, 1924 in Granger, Texas to John and Millie Fojtik.
While Martha was affected by mental illness most of her adult life, one would not say she suffered from it. It was because of this condition that she would approach a complete stranger and greet them as warmly as a long lost friend. To offer someone in need money even if it was her last. To gift an acquaintance even if just with a sole, wildflower picked at the last minute expecting nothing in return. Her condition was defined as an illness and would make some uncomfortable; however, if this story was read from the Bible you would be inspired.
Martha was survived by son Russell Millner; granddaughter, Victoria Millner; two grandsons, Phillip Millner and Nicholas Millner; brother, Bennie Fojtik and several nieces and nephews, numerous friends and last dear, dear friend, Rose Pennick. Martha was preceded in death by one loving daughter, Phyllis Jan Millner; parents, John and Millie Fojtik; sisters, Lillian, Evelyn, Georgia, Dorothy, and Betty; and brothers, Julius, Albert and Johnnie .
The family would like to thank everyone at New Century Hospice and to recognize Rose Pennick for providing twenty-two years of loving care for Martha.
